Site Clearances
We begin all groundwork projects by clearing the land and removing anything that might be a barrier to construction or landscaping. A clearance can cover the removal of scrub, debris and general waste, which we dispose of ethically by having it taken to a local waste transfer station. Demolitions
Oakhurst Groundworks also undertakes minor demolitions and material removals to help enable other works. One of the key considerations for any hard landscaping, building or construction project is the dispersal of foul and surface water run-off. We can make provisions to connect to the mains sewage system or, if you live in a more rural part of Surrey or Sussex, we can easily integrate soakaways. Retaining Walls
Commonly used on sloped land in East Grinstead and the surrounding areas, retaining walls support the weight load on one side of its structure to prevent erosion.
